From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: PIC provided a statement indicating that, because he was unfamiliar with airport, he was "concentrating on my altitude & the centerline. I did not bleed off my airspeed enough & flew the plane to the runway". He further stated that the a/c bounced three times & the nose gear collapsed. This caused the prop to contact the rwy & the a/c to veer to the left & off the rwy down into a shallow ditch. There were no injuries to either occupant. Damage to N6349C was limited to nose gear assy., propeller & lower cowling. The a/c is registered to: executive Beechcraft, inc. privacy data omitted This incident, no. CE96IGA0073, is closed.

DAMAGE TO N6349C WAS LIMITED TO NOSE GEAR ASSY., PROPELLER & LOWER COWLING. THE A/C IS REGISTERED TO: EXECUTIVE BEECHCRAFT, INC. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THIS INCIDENT, NO. CE96IGA0073, IS CLOSED.
