What happened

High and long. Began go around. Wheels caught 4FT tall grass end of runway. Slowed. Impact just off end of runway. (-23) during approach to landing pilot decided he was high and long, he attempted a go around but he applied power (115HP) a little late, aircraft landing gear hit tall (4 feet) grass at end of runway which slowed him even more and aircraft impacted ground in a level, straight forward attitude.

(-23) DURING APPROACH TO LANDING PILOT DECIDED HE WAS HIGH AND LONG, HE ATTEMPTED A GO AROUND BUT HE APPLIED POWER (115HP) A LITTLE LATE, AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR HIT TALL (4 FEET) GRASS AT END OF RUNWAY WHICH SLOWED HIM EVEN MORE AND AIRCRAFT IMPACTED GROUND IN A LEVEL, STRAIGHT FORWARD ATTITUDE.
