High and fast for night landing. Began go around. Stalled into trees on climbing turnout. (-23) pilot (gary bradford) was landing at the Backus airport, which he had done before, but this was the 1st time at night. He came in high & fast, and had to execute a go around, he banked too hard and stalled the aircraft.

HIGH AND FAST FOR NIGHT LANDING. BEGAN GO AROUND. STALLED INTO TREES ON CLIMBING TURNOUT. (-23) PILOT (GARY BRADFORD) WAS LANDING AT THE BACKUS AIRPORT, WHICH HE HAD DONE BEFORE, BUT THIS WAS THE 1ST TIME AT NIGHT. HE CAME IN HIGH & FAST, AND HAD TO EXECUTE A GO AROUND, HE BANKED TOO HARD AND STALLED THE AIRCRAFT.
