From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: the pilot stated that he took off from north las vegas approach control. Radar service terminated near boulder city. The pilot stated that he over-flew hoover dam, made a 270 degree right turn to Temple Bar via boulder canyon. He stated he flew over the lake and radioed 5 miles out on 122.8 with intention to land at Temple Bar. On final he stated he put the landing gear lever down and got 3 green landing gear lights. The pilot said that the landing was normal, and that the nose gear collapsed when it touched the runway at 50 knots. Upon investigation the landing gear doors were damaged along with the prop blades being curled forward due to impact of the runway. The aircraft is being trucked back to California and the cause of the incident is still pending. No NMAC or pilot deviation report filed.
