From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft ran off right side of runway. (.4)the pilot said that on landing the airplane started to turn left and he corrected to the right; however, the airplane exited the runway to the right. After rolling off the runway the wing received damage from contact with the ground. Subsequent to the accident an examination of the airplane failed to reveal any mechanical anomalies of the nose wheel steering or braking system. (-23) on the landing roll the aircraft departed the right side of the runway in a tight right ground loop fashion. The aircraft was substantially damaged when the left wing struck the ground.

As the FAA filed it
