From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: there was an investigation by this office approximately a week after the mishap occurred due to late notification. Several photographs of the aircraft were taken from various points. The photographs clearly show damage caused by the hard landing. Damage included the left and right main tires which were blown on impact with the runway. The right propeller made contact with the runway surface and was damaged. Additional damage was apparent under the wings and fuselage. Inspection of the wing and tail boot de-ice system will be conducted on the airplane in the near future to check for system integrity. Submission of this report closes this incident.
