From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: the pilot stated that while repositioning his aircraft from his main base ramp to a cargo ramp he taxied into a ditch causing minor damage to the prop and engine. He said he did not completely clear his windshield of frost. The pilot was tested for drugs and alcohol by his company immediately following the incident with negative results. He was administered an evaluation by a company check airman with satisfactory results. The company president fined the pilot $500 with the proceeds going to charity. The pilot accepted the above results and counseling with a positive constructive attitude.
