From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: aircraft had departed fsd where it had taxied through snow. Brake de-ice had been used and had cycled through. Upon landing at Chamberlain the l brake had frozen. Because of 2" of powder snow it did not break loose. The aircraft was pulled l and caused the left main gear to be pulled into the heavy snow bank on the l side of the runway. The plane came to rest with all 3 gear off the runway with the tail still over the runway. One small dent occured to a cosmetic fairing. Factory rep. Suggested pulling brake de-ice c/b to reset system and then turning system on again prior to landing. Operator has complied.
