From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: on approach to runway 18 at lit, the pilot put the gear handle down. About 15 seconds later the pilot noticed he did not have three green gear down lights. At that very same time the tower advised him he did not have his gear down. The pilot made a couple more attempts to lower the gear but failed. The aircraft made a go-around. The pilot manually pumped the gear down and landed without incident. Maintenance personnel found a bad gear selector switch. M or d submitted.
