From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: pilot filed flight plan, deiced aircraft, received clearance over phone. Taxied out to runway, didn't need much more power than normal. Had to use nose steer button on pilots console for tighter radius turn. Complied with before take-off check list, put auto ignition on, all deice on in accordance with POH. Began roll at 95% torque, he could feel aircraft move through snow, got to about 110 and aircraft yawed right abruptly. Pilot tried to stop aircraft from spinning, but aircraft continued to the right, and struck landing lights. Pilot got aircraft stopped, shut down engines, called mht ATCT and canx flight plan. Approx. 2-4" of snow on runway at the time of occurrence.
