What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Narrative: the pilot was giving rides at municipal airport, Lincoln, NE. The pilot had made two flights using runway 17L. The traffic flow was then changed to the north. On the third flight, the pilot departed on runway 35R. When he returned for landing, the pilot lined up on taxiway instead of runway 35R. The mistake was noted by air traffic personnel and the pilot was instructed to go around. The go around was initiated from the landing flare. Another aircraft (Cessna N3717U) was taxiing for takeoff. Approaching the intersection of taxiways n and a, that pilot noted the position of N44KE and held short of taxiway a. this incident is closed with this report.
