From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: while accelerating to takeoff on the second of three touch and go's at smyrna airport, smyrna, TN the pilot of a corporate express training flight saw three deer crossing the runway. The pilot rotated abruptly but was unable to gain sufficient altitude to avoid striking the deer. The subsequent impact sheared the right main gear at the pivot hub. The gear remained attached by the actuator. The pilot reported the deer strike to Nashville approach control and the airport prepared for the emergency landing which followed. The pilot remained aloft for approximately an hour and half burning fuel and completing the emergency check lists. The aircraft touched down approximately 500 feet from the approach end of runway 31, the crew shut down and feathered both engines, the right side then came down approximately 1000 feet from the approach end of the runway. The aircraft skidded for approximately 2400 feet and came to rest just right of the center line and in front of taxiway "b". The passenger removed the pilot side overwing exit and evacuated the aircraft during the fire department's foaming process. The two crew members followed after the fire department completed the foaming.
