From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: pilots statement: my approach to 20 for touch and go was made on extended downwind due to the departure of a commuter aircraft. The base leg and final approach to landing was normal with the exception of a large amount of turbulence on final. Touchdown was made to the left of the center line, so I attempted to make a correction before takeoff. I could not make this correction to my satisfaction after a few hundred feet on the runway so I decided to abort the takeoff and apply the brakes firmly. The aircraft veered to the left and stopped on the grass. privacy data omitted

As the FAA filed it
