What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-16) The pilot decided to land on runway 33. Winds were very strong (30-40MPH) out of the south. The pilot became aware that he was not going to be able to land and stop on runway 33 at about 50 ft. AGL, so initiated to go around at that point. After initiating the go around, the pilot decided that the aircraft was close to stalling and would not have the performance needed to make the go around. He aborted the go around and landed the aircraft with the landing gear retracted. The pilot made several decisions within a short period of time that led up to this accident.
