From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: while landing on runway 19L, and after touch down, the aircraft veered to the right proceeding off the runway and into a grass infield area. The pilot stated that, inadvertent right brake application was applied instead of normal rudder application for nose wheel steering, thus, causing the aircraft to veer uncontrollably to the right. Post flight inspection revealed minor structural damage to the landing gear, propeller, and fuselage. The aircraft brake and steering systems were found to be operating normally.

As the FAA filed it

NARRATIVE: WHILE LANDING ON RUNWAY 19L, AND AFTER TOUCH DOWN, THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE RIGHT PROCEEDING OFF THE RUNWAY AND INTO A GRASS INFIELD AREA. POST FLIGHT INSPECTION REVEALED MINOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO THE LANDING GEAR, PROPELLER, AND FUSELAGE. THE AIRCRAFT BRAKE AND STEERING SYSTEMS WERE FOUND TO BE OPERATING NORMALLY.
