From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: N733NE was taxiing out for take off on the main taxiway at warrentown fauqier airport, Virginia when a gmc 1987 truck was observed taxiing in the opposite direction on the same taxiway. The truck pulled off to the right of the taxiway onto the grass area to avoid hitting the aircraft. After the truck driver thought the aircraft was clear, he prematurely made a sudden left turn to get back on to the taxiway again and again placed the truck in the path of the taxiing aircraft. Because of this sudden movement on the part of the truck driver the pilot was left with insufficient space to stop the aircraft and keep the left wing fairing from colliding with the truck.
