From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: N1921D landed gear up at robens afb after a short flight from makon muni. The PIC, richard k. fisher, and second pilot, padelis kristalakes, insist that they flew from mcn with the landing gear down and that the gear indicated safe on final approach. Upon inspection of the aircraft, there was no indication that the landing gear collapsed on the runway. Mr. Fisher's written statement indicates that the landing gear indicated unsafe when he turned the aircraft power back on in order to call for emergency vehicles. Mr. Krestalakis was flying as a passenger, however, he holds a flight instructor certificate. Aircraft was minor damage. privacy data omitted Consider this incident closed.
