What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
(-16) Due to the layout of the airport, it is possible to taxi an airplane onto the runway and stop with the nose of the aircraft clear of the runway and the right wing extending out into the runway. Due to a steep drop off and a tapering tree line to the left of runway 31, a pilot on takeoff tends to drift to the right side of the runway. The runup area for runway 31 cannot be seen from the taxiway due to a hill and swimming pool beside the runway. This hill and swimming pool also partly block the view of the departure end of runway 31.
