From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: as reported by PIC. Experienced total in-flight electrical power failure. Could not communicate problem to dvt tower. Attempted to lower gear manually, but experienced stiff/binding operation, and could not completely lower gear. Entered dvt traffic pattern remaining clear of other aircraft and completed several approaches to land with go-arounds while continuing to work gear manually. Emergency vehicles were dispatched and standing-by. Received flashing green-red lights from tower and completed several more approaches and go-arounds. Then decided to belly land the aircraft with partial gear down and landed on runway 25R. Performed emergency shut down prior to touchdown. Propeller struck runway and aircraft skidded to a stop. Unable to determine cause of electrical failure and why manual extension would not operate properly.
