From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: as the aircraft exited rw 02L at the end, steering and braking control was lost as aircraft passed over the painted r/w end markings and the nose wheel left the taxiway. Skidometer readings taken immediately after the incident ranged from high 60'S on unpainted to mid 20'S on painted runway surfaces. The paint used for runway end markings becomes extremely slippery when wet and causes a loss of steering control and braking even at very low speeds. privacy data omitted
