What happened

Narrative: aircraft struck a snow bank at the opposite end of runway 6 after making a hard landing and floating a considerable distance. The pilot turned the aircraft into the snow bank to avoid going past the end of the runway and into a ditch which bordered the runway end. There were no injuries. This report closes this incident.

NARRATIVE: AIRCRAFT STRUCK A SNOW BANK AT THE OPPOSITE END OF RUNWAY 6 AFTER MAKING A HARD LANDING AND FLOATING A CONSIDERABLE DISTANCE. THE PILOT TURNED THE AIRCRAFT INTO THE SNOW BANK TO AVOID GOING PAST THE END OF THE RUNWAY AND INTO A DITCH WHICH BORDERED THE RUNWAY END. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THIS REPORT CLOSES THIS INCIDENT.
