From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot reported that on approach to runway 5 she performed her g.u.m.p.s. procedures and continued to land. The aircraft landed gear up, skidding approximately 420 feet before coming to a stop. Pilot reported checking the gear handle after the landing, and it was in the up position. Pilot reported that she could not clearly see the down and green indication during the g.u.m.p.s. procedures due to the amount of sunlight against the instrument panel, but believed it was green and down.
