From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-5) Mr. Nereson, after a 1/2 hour checkout, departed springdale, AR, during the late afternoon, with an intended landing at the lake elmo, MN airport. He thought he had an engine problem and made an emergency landing in the dark in a gravel pit 3 miles from his destination. The pilot received a weather briefing but did not file a VFR flight plan. Pilot had a "no night flight" restriction on his license. Further investigation found 2 1/2 gallons of fuel remaining in fuel tanks.
