From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-5) The aircraft departed casa de aero enroute to lake in the Hills (3CK). Upon landing at 3CK the propeller contacted the runway. Witnesses stated that the landing gear was not extended upon initial contact. When the aircraft bounced back into the air, the landing gear started to extend. When the aircraft contacted the runway again, only the right main was down and locked. The aircraft came to rest on the side of runway 26. The propeller had departed the aircraft. An examination of the aircraft revealed no previous discrepancies. All inspections are within time limits.
