From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Acft landing gear collapsed on landing, and the acft exited rwy 18 on the west side approx 1500' from the rwy 18 threshold. (-5) PIC stated that, during landing rollout, he placed the landing gear switch to the up position. He immediately recognized what he did, and returned the switch to the down position. However, the right main gear began to retract and the airplane veered to the right and exited the side of runway 18 approximately mid-field. The remaining two landing gear also partially retracted into the wheel wells. Post-incident investigation revealed that both propellers were scraped and bent, the underside of the right wing tip was scraped, and the trailing edges of both flaps were bent. This incident, privacy data omitted is closed.
