From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Acft left brake locked during landing causing acft to veer off the runway striking a wood box which ruptured fuel tank. Subsequent fire destroyed acft. The pilot repprted that after landing he applied the brakes in a normal manner and the left brake locked causing the aircraft to swerve to the left and the aircraft departed the runway. The aircraft was removed back to the hanger tie down area, it was left out side of the hanger due to a leaking left wing tank. About one hour later the aircraft caught fire and was destroyed. This investigation is considered closed.
