From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-5)On December 13, 1998, American west, flight number 44, an Airbus 320, was enroute from cmh to lax and diverted to mci due to pressurization problems. No emergency was declared and the pilot landed the aircraft at mci without further incident. Crew reported #1 bleed faulted then #2 bleed faulted. The pilot desended the aircraft to 10,000 feet (no oxygen mask were deployed) and the #2 bleed was reset. After landing at mci the flight was cancelled and maintenance crews ran bleed system checks.
