From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot observed decreasing oil pressure and increasing oil temperature while over kalispell, Montana. Pilot observed electrical failure shorlty there after and diverted to Browning, Montana, using hand held GPS unit. No emergency was declared. Enroute to Browning, pilot noticed the master electrical circuit breaker was popped and pushed it in. Soon thereafter, all systems resumed normal operation and the aircraft landed without incident in Browning. Pilot suspected the circuit breaker popped during start-up at the beginning of flight & the false engine indications resulted. All systems have operated normally since incident.
