From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On final approach to runway 19L, the pilot verified that he had a green light indicating landing and locked. The pilot also looked at a mirror mountedto visually verify the gear down, in which the gaer appeared down. The aircraft landed on the main gear and then the nose gear, after which the nose gear collapsed. Minor damage to the aircraft extending to the propeller tips and nose gear door. No injuries to the pilot and one passenger. An mrd will be submitted by repair facility when cause of failure is determined.
