From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) N21RR lost power on left engine shortly after takeoff at approximately 200 at AGL. When the aircraft was on the downwind leg, it struck a power line, and a stand pipe before landing gear up in an open field. Aircraft examination revealed the fuel was on main tanks, mag switches were on, throttle, mixture and props were full high and the left engine had not been feathered. Passenger and pilot were unable to provide any new information. Both engines ran normal during ground run after accident. Downgraded to incident. During aircraft repair, there was no firewall damage. Only skins were replaced.
