From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft taxiing into gate struck a baggage container with the left wing tip. A driver of a tug with three LD3 containers was parked approximately 3'TO 4' inside the left safety line of the gate. The wing tip cone/marker was not in the right position. The driver of the tug thought because he was to the right of the cone/marker, he would be clear of the wing tip. He did not stay outside of the safety line. There is no rational reason for the dirver to be parked at that position. The lead guide person (ess) who was marshalling the aircraft into the gate failed to see the baggage containers within the safety line because he did not have a clear view of all the peripheral personnel at the gate, due to an APU parked by the jet way, was partially blocking his view. The APU is used to provide electrical power to the aircraft, when needed. The electrical power cord for that gate is inoperative.

As the FAA filed it
