From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(Actual pilot certificate numbers are preceded with an 'a'. System wouldn't accept the alpha character.) Tire blew on landing and tire spun on rim causing smoke. Investigated incident and fileda ptrs (program tracking and reporting subsystem) report on the incident. Notified transport Canada Calgary of the incident and faxed them a copy of the report. Dave mcnab transport Canada contacted this office with a follow up report stating, wiring in wheel skid detector shorted out it also failed to turn on anti-skid fail light. SDR was sent to this office by home aviation Canada (owner/operator) which they expanded on dave mcnab's report. Filed SDR report with home aviation's information on it.
