From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Mr. Martin stated that he had just completed a lesson with his instructor at Coronado Airport. He then took off solo from runway 35 with calm winds, flew the pattern and landed on runway 35, shortly after touchdown he got the right wheel off the runway and started to veer further right, he then overcorrected, and the aircraft turned sharply left, across the runway into a depression, with the ground making contact with the prop and bending the nose gear. privacy data omitted
