From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Acft ground-looped on landing and ran off the rwy. (-23)landing approach was normal. Touched down, right wing lifted, touched down again started to swerve right. A/c departed runway (missed runway edge lights) with both mains skidding. Landing gear collapsed (both to right side of a/c) when tires left pavement and uncountered dirt at runway edge. Propeller marks and right main skid marks in dirt are co-located indicating skid angle approximately 35-40 degrees from a/c centerline. No post fire.
