From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Acft ran off the end of the rwy, and the nose gear collapsed. (-23)pilot stated that a crosswind was present during first fly over of the airport. She opted to land on the runway without the obstacles, but realized too loate the wind had shifted and she was now landing with a tailwind. The pilot opted not to go around at that time as she was uncertain she would clear the obstacles on takeoff. She stated she began braking as sonn as she touched down, but apparently only one wheel was down. The aircraft veered off the west side of the runway, contacting a berm. The nose gear collapsed, and the prop was damaged along with the end of the left wing.

As the FAA filed it
