From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Pilot was landing on runway 25. Aircraft touched down approximately half way down runway. Pilot applied brakes but aircraft did not slow down sufficiently. Pilot realized he would not be stopped by end of runway so he attempted to make a u-turn on runway. Pilot maneuvered aircraft to left hand side of runway and attempted to steer to the right. Nose wheel bent to the right allowing left wing tip and propeller to strike ground. Damage to approximately 4' of left wing, propeller, nose gear, lower engine cowling and pilot's side window.
