From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Alaska airlines flight 73, was landing on runway 8 at the Juneau airport. Weather was VFR, but it was drak, early morning. The jnu afss was providing local airport advisory service while the jnu ATCT was closed. During this time, an airfield maintenance snowplow was working on the runway doing training in preparation for winter activity. Flight 73 did not request, and idi not receive, an airport advisory. Additionally, they did not broadcast thier position or landing information within 20 miles of the jnu airport. As a result, their jet narrowly avoided a collision with the snowplow operating on the runway.
