From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The nose gear did not lock in place and collapsed upon landing. The aircraft received minor damaged to the nose gear doors and one of the two propeller blades. The aircraft engine has been tagged by the Albany FSDO and will undergo a teardown inspection at the Lycoming engine facility. A representative of the FAA will be present to onsevre the engine teardown. A service difficulty report will be submitted. This investigation is closed.
