From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23)While the aircraft was on the downwind for landing, the pilot reduced power to start his decent for the runway. As the power was retarded, th gear warning horn sounded as the landing gear was still in the up position. The A-45 is equipped with a landing gear horn shut off which the pilot used to silence the horn as to not alarm his passenger. Before the aircraft turned final for the runway, the rear seat passenger said that he was not feeling well. The pilot opened the canopy so the passenger could get some fresh air. The pilot continued his approach for landing without putting the landing gear in the down position. The aircraft landed gear up. There were no injuries.
