From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23)On approach to Manhattan Kansas (mhk), the PIC selected gear down and the landing gear circuit breaker opened. The PIC aborted the landing and tried numberous times to extend the gear. He then attempted to use emergency gear extension but that also was not successful. He then tried to reset the circuit breaker and use the emergency gear extension together, still to no avail. The aircraft was getting low on fuel so the PIC elected to make an emergency gear up landing. Both propellers were feathered prior to touchdown. The aircraft was taken to heartland aircraft hanger where the r/h main gear was moved slightly aft, the gear fell free. That is when the main landing trunnion was found to be broken.
