From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23)Enroute from pompano beach, FL, to rockland, ME, on entering traffic pattern at mfv for a intended fuel stop, pilot was not able to get a green indication on the left main gear. A flyby was initiated and ground personnel observed the left main landing gear still in the fully retracted position, with the nose gear and right main gear extended. Pilot elected to proceed to phf and executed a full gear up landing on a foamed runway. Damage was limited to the lower fuselage skins. Further investigation revealed the left main uplock roller would not rotate possibly due to lack of lubrication. The uplock roller clearence was also found insufficient per the maintenance manual spec. The last annual inpsection had been completed on October 4, 1999.
