From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23)PIC reported that during landing phase he had a left crosswind and corrected for the left side of runway, at the threshold of the runway the crosswind stopped and he was to FAR left to correct and initiated a go around. He applied full throttle and tried to take-off, the aircraft was not climbing and he decided to land rather that continue climb out. The right gear hit hard causing the aircraft to veer right and off the runway. The aircraft slid into a dirt bank and came to rest.
