From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) This aircraft was at the gate with the APU running with both packs on, having a hydraulic leak at the parking brake shut off valve repaired, in the left wheel well. Upon hydraulic line removal, the mechanic, APU intake and wheel well were sprayed with hydraulic fluid. An emergency evacuation due to smoke in the cockpit and cabin occurred, (APU hydraulic fluid ingestion) and the lead flight attendant initiated a evacuation, due to instant heavy smoke. The flight crew did not initiate the evacuation command. The L1 door was used through the jetway, both over wing exits, R2 door and slide was used and functioned properly, and the aft ventral stairs were used. Passengers accumulated on the wings until northwest ground personnel put belt loaders up to the wings. No injuries were reported to passengers, however the flight attendants did go to a company medical for smoke inhalation.
