From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Right main landing gear collapsed while aircraft was making u-turn on the runway following aborted takeoff. The pilot stated that he aborted the takeoff because he though he had a flat tire on the right main landing gear. As the aircraft slowed to taxi speed, the symptom ceased. The pilot was intending to taxi to the ramp to investigate when the gear collapsed. The aircraft sustained damage to the landing gear, right prop, right wing tip and right horizontal stabilizer tip. The aircraft had just completed an annual inspection earlier that day. Maintenance records did not indicate that any recent maintenance was performed on the right main gear.
