From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On July 13, 2001 at approximately 2230 EDT, N613PW, Cessna T210R, sustained minor damage during a gear up landing at Cuyahoga County Airport (cgf). The instructional flight originated at 2130 from lost nation airport (lnn). From a July 30, 2001, telephone conversation with the student pilot/aircraft owner, a series of touch and go landings had been executed at lnn and bkl prior to this one at cgf. Upon entering the traffic pattern for cgf runway 23, additional traffic caused for an extended downwind and high base/final aproach. Neither the student or instructor verified landing gear position prior to landing. Upon landing, they heard the prop striking and the belly scraping the runway. A go around maneuver was executed, during the downwind phase, they decided to return to lnn. Examination of the airplane on 07/19/2001, found all three propeller blades curled aft, 6" from tips, one blade broken free of hub, belly antennas and belly skin scraped and abraded.
