From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) On July 20, 2001, at approximately 1520 CDT, Beech 58P, N6035S, experienced a loss of LH engine oil pressure during cruise operations at 25,000 feet. The PIC shut down the LH engine and diverted to Eppley Airfield in Omaha, Nebraska. The PIC did not declare an emergency, and landed without further incident. No injuries were reported. Subsequent investigation disclosed that maintenance personnel had removed the air conditioning compressor drive sheave, Continental pn 640801, which allowed the displacement of the engine accessory section oil seal, pn 642383.
