From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Aircraft departed slc, on climbout pilot noticed that the hydraulic power pack advisory light indicated it was still operating. Pilot turned the circuit breaker switch off. Pilot proceeded back to slc where crash rescue was available, and conducted a tower inspection of landing gear on fly by. Tower stated that the landing gear appeared to be down and normal. Upon landing the left wind gently lowered caused by left main landing gear collapse. Aircraft veered to the left and proceeded off runway. Damage to left main landing gear, left wing tip, and left horizontal stabilizer tip. No fuel spill, no post incident fire, no injuries. Office incident number is INM072001064.
