From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) During landing approach after dropping 14 jumpers on his tenth load of the day, the pilot stated that he thought the gear was down and locked, did not remember seeing the green landing gear down and locked light and heard no warning horns. He realized the gear was not down when the propellers started making contact with the runway. Post landing, the aircraft was lifted, and landing gear handle extended, the gear extended, locked and retracted several times properly. No mechanical or electrical problems could be found. Propellers were damaged, engines and engine gear boxes will be inspected as per manufacturers requirements to determine if damage exists.
