From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) With ten skydiving jumpers on board, on take-off roll, 180' crosswind from the left with the tail coming up, the right MLG tire flat, left wing came up. The airplane forced to the left so shut down the power. The airplane went left and right wheel caught raised grass from the edge of the runway, forcing the tail to swing to the left, and the right MLG dug into the ground. The airplane came to a stop, and the skydivers got out. The pilot shut off the fuel and electric switches, got out, checked on skydivers, and everyone was ok without any injuries. This was from a statement from the pilot. Substantial damage to the right MLG, right wing, right engine cowling, both propellers, tail wheel, tail of the aircraft, and a broken passenger window on a right aft side of the aircraft.
