From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) While climbing through 14,000 ft, 20 miles NE of sns crew heard a loud bang and a slight shutter in the aircraft. The crew then reduced power and returned for landing at mry. The aircraft was then inspected inside and out by crew and a company mechanic. All systems operationally checked good and no damage could be found to the exterior of the aircraft. The crew decided to spend the night and return to home base the following day. That flight was uneventful.
